SL Transport Logistics started in 2017 with one truck and one promise: pick up the phone, and the load gets moved. Today we run a fleet of Class 1 HGVs plus vans out of Wrings Parking Yard in Avonmouth — and that promise hasn't changed.

Operator's licence
We hold a Goods Vehicle Operator's Licence for our fleet, with a nominated transport manager and a designated operating centre at Avonmouth.
Goods in transit cover
Your freight is insured while it's in our care. We also carry public liability cover. Certificates supplied on request before the first load.
Drivers' hours & tachograph
Digital tachographs on every vehicle, hours analysed and infringements dealt with. A legal driver is a driver who arrives.
Maintenance & inspections
Planned preventative maintenance to set inspection intervals, daily walkaround checks and defect reporting on every vehicle in the fleet.
Vetted personnel
All employees are vetted to the appropriate clearance levels required for UK Government work — useful if your sites need it, standard for us either way.
Limited company
SL Transport Logistics LTD is a UK registered limited company trading since 2017. VAT invoicing, and a real accounts contact who answers.

How quickly can you give me a haulage quote?
Same day, and usually within the hour during working hours. Give us the collection point, the destination, what the load is and when it needs to be there, and we'll come back with a rate. Phone is always fastest.
Do you cover Europe as well as the UK?
Yes. We run UK-wide full and part loads, and we move freight into and out of the European Union with the customs paperwork handled as part of the job.
Can you collect today?
Often, yes — it depends where the load is and what vehicle it needs. Call 07479 489779 and we'll tell you straight away whether we can get to you today, rather than leaving you waiting on an email.
Are you a licensed and insured operator?

What areas do you serve from Bristol?

Yes. If you need a truck and driver on your site regularly we run dedicated ongoing work on fixed weekly rates, which usually works out cheaper than booking load by load.
Can you store pallets as well as move them?
Yes. Secure pallet storage is available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year at the Avonmouth yard — short-term overflow or long-term contract storage.
Do you take on Class 1 drivers?
